How to play a skateboard ?

Skateboard

① Stand on the ground with two feet, and place the skateboard flat on the ground in front of your feet;

② Put one foot on the front end of the skateboard first, while the other foot is still on the ground;

③Move the body's center of gravity to the feet on the board, lean the upper body slightly forward, bend the knees, and extend the arms to maintain balance;

④ Step on the ground with the foot lightly, and then receive the skateboard and place it on the back of the skateboard. At this time, the whole body and the skateboard begin to slide forward;

Down skateboard

①When the skateboard does not stop completely, put the center of gravity on the front foot and then put the back foot on the ground like a landing gear;

②After landing on the back foot, the center of gravity shifts to the back foot immediately, and then lift the front foot so that both feet are on one side of the skateboard;

③When you can slide on and off the ground freely, you should try to change the position of the front and rear feet to familiarize yourself with the reverse sliding posture;

Inertial sliding

①Put your right foot on the middle and front part of the skateboard to the right, step on the left foot on the ground, and focus on the right foot;

②Step on the ground with your left foot, slide the skateboard forward, and then put your left foot up and step on the tail of the skateboard to maintain a standing balance;

③Glide for a while, then push the ground with your left foot, and repeat the action;

④ Repeated practice so that you can easily and skillfully accelerate the sliding behavior, the change of the center of gravity determines the direction and speed of the skateboard;

Obstacle slip

Quick stops and sharp turns are very important skills; when sliding down a slope, the speed is relatively fast, and you must learn to use both feet to keep on the skateboard and turn the skateboard to brake laterally to stop the movement. There are two ways to change the speed of the skateboard:

①Use the back foot to control the center of gravity and try to make the body lean forward to drive the skateboard forward;

②Bang the elastic surface of the skateboard with both feet, and use the elasticity to slide forward;

Downhill

The technical focus of downhill sliding is on control, and speed is second.

①First learn to slide steadily. When sliding downhill, place your feet on both ends of the skateboard;

②Move your feet to the center of the skateboard when you encounter a turn or when you need to cross the mountain;

③Face and body should face straight ahead, crouch down, thighs close to the chest, and both hands stretched out;

Turning skills

①The skater pushes the skateboard forward, then stands up, straddling both feet, and the left foot can move flexibly;

②Press the weight on the end of the board and lift the end of the board by one or two inches;

③When the board end is in the air, the body rotates clockwise;

④When the front wheel hits the ground, the skateboard deflects to the right;

Downhill skills

① Move the center of gravity to the back foot when approaching the ridge;

②When the board end crosses the ridge edge, raise the front wheel;

③Keep this posture, squat down slightly, and prepare to land;

Hurdle skills

① Move the center of gravity to the back foot when approaching the ridge;

② Lift the end of the board to jump over the edge of the ridge before reaching the ridge;

③ Move the center of gravity from the back foot to the front foot quickly in the air, press the front end of the skateboard onto the steps, so that the tail of the board will also go up the steps;

Reversal technique

①Slide forward to reach a proper speed, spread your feet as far as possible across the two ends of the skateboard;

②Place the center of gravity on the front foot, that is, the left foot, tilt the tail of the board, and rotate it 180 degrees clockwise (backward or outward);

③If the action is correct, the skateboard is turned upside down after completion, and the right foot becomes the supporting foot;

Precautions

①Adjust the wheels before use to make them run freely.

② Use a lock nut to adjust the elasticity of the cushion according to your own usage.

③Oil the bearings regularly to increase the lubrication of the bearings and reduce the sliding resistance.

④ Beginners need to slide on a slope with a small inclination angle with the help of relatives and friends. With the improvement of technical level, gradually change different slopes.

 ⑤Do not slide on wet or rough roads. When you want to jump off the skateboard, watch whether you can hit people or other objects around you.

 ⑥ If replacement is required, the replacement should be of the same specification and model as the original part.
